How can new technologies be successfully used to finance start-ups? How does digital technology influence the decision-making behavior of investors, for example in interaction with business models, crowdfunding campaigns or initial coin offerings (ICOs)? What influence do investors' experience and competence have on startup success? What negative effects can decisions for unsuitable capital providers have on startups? These and similar questions are addressed by the team in this research field.
