Master Seminar: Entrepreneurship & Digitalization Research
The students work on a question from the fields of entrepreneurship and digitalization, based on current academic literature. The main focus is to learn the basics of scientific work for a possible later master thesis based on interesting topics.
Entrepreneurial decisions should be based on a combination of critical thinking and the best available evidence. To make evidence-based decisions, entrepreneurs need to know how to search for studies in online databases and how to assess the quality of those studies they find. They need to learn how to evaluate the validity of studies and the applicability to their business. The seminar incorporates evidence-based methods into the curriculum. Students must search for, evaluate, and prepare academic literature on an entrepreneurship or digital innovation topic.
