Teaching

Entrepreneurship involves proactive, risk-taking and innovative behavior. Students learn how to create, explore and exploit entrepreneurial opportunities, and how to structure and evaluate such opportunities. Furthermore, students are provided with an understanding of the unique characteristics of starting, operating, and growing a young business. Our teaching is designed to foster entrepreneurial decision-making and develop entrepreneurial skills among students. Therefore, our students learn to plan entrepreneurial activities, to develop successful business models, to go from an idea to an innovative company, and to manage and grow their own business.

Bachelor Studies

In the  Lecture Series (Ringvorlesung) Entrepreneurship und Digital Management, entrepreneurial strategies and courses of action are presented. Participants learn which different business models exist and how they are developed. The course is complemented by numerous guest speakers from start-up supporting organizations, innovative companies and start-ups. This gives students exciting practical insights into the topics of entrepreneurship and digitalization.

Finally, in addition to bachelor theses, we also offer an Entrepreneurship Seminar for bachelor students. In this, changing relevant topics from the field of entrepreneurship and digitalization research are offered.

Master Studies

In the courses for master's students, there is a special focus on the development of basic entrepreneurial skills and the knowledge required in this regard in a digital world. The new core course here is

Digital Entrepreneurship

In the Master Seminar, students learn how to work scientifically based on empirical literature or empirical studies.
