Prof. Dr. Dennis Steininger

Prof. Dr. Dennis Steininger ist Inhaber der Professur für BWL, insbesondere Entrepreneurship. 2021 lehnte er Rufe der TU Darmstadt sowie der TU Clausthal ab. Zuvor war er Verwalter der Professur „BWL und Management der digitalen Transformation“ an der TU Clausthal, Habilitand an der Universität Augsburg sowie Mitgründer und Geschäftsführer des Augsburg Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE).

Dennis Steininger studierte Betriebswirtschaftslehre an der Universität Mannheim, wo er 2016 promoviert wurde. An der Universität Mannheim und der Mannheim Business School lehrte und lehrt er auch regelmäßig als Adjunct Faculty in den Themenbereichen Entrepreneurship und digitale Transformation. Vor und während seiner akademischen Laufbahn gründete, unterstützte und beriet er zahlreiche Start-ups.

Der Fokus seiner Forschung liegt hauptsächlich auf der Schnittstelle zwischen Entrepreneurship und digitalen Innovationen.

Seine wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten wurden in führenden internationalen Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht.

Dennis Steininger ist Gutachter zahlreicher wissenschaftlicher Zeitschriften und Konferenzen, wie beispielsweise Journal of Management Information Systems, Journal of Small Business Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Venturing, Information Systems Journal, European Journal of Information Systems, Journal of Business Research, Business & Information Systems Engineering. In diesem Rahmen wurden ihm mehrfach Best-Reviewer-Awards verliehen.
